This Privacy Policy explains how Derailleur Interactive Ltd. (“Derailleur Interactive,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses information in connection with the eblabs website, our software products, and our customer communications.

1. Who we are

eblabs is operated by Derailleur Interactive Ltd., a company based in British Columbia, Canada.

2. Information we collect

Purchases, accounts, and licences

Purchases, subscriptions, customer purchase accounts, and software licence activation are handled through Lemon Squeezy.

Through Lemon Squeezy, we may receive or have access to information associated with a purchase, including:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The eblabs product you purchased or subscribed to
• Order, subscription, and licence status
• The number of licence seats purchased
• Newsletter or marketing subscription preferences

We may access this information through the Lemon Squeezy website and through transaction or account notification emails sent to us.

We do not directly receive or store your complete payment card or banking information.

Customer support and communications

When you contact us through the support information provided on our website, we may collect:

• Your name and email address
• The contents of your message
• Information about your purchase or licence
• Files, screenshots, logs, crash details, or other diagnostic information you choose to provide

eblabs software does not automatically submit crash reports. We receive crash or diagnostic information only when you choose to send it to us.

Google Analytics may process an IP address to determine approximate geographic information. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.

The eblabs website does not have customer login accounts. We do not provide Google Analytics with customer names, email addresses, payment information, licence keys, or other information that directly identifies a customer.

We do not intentionally connect Google Analytics information with Lemon Squeezy purchase records.

We use Google Analytics for website measurement and aggregate statistics. We do not use it for advertising, remarketing, or building advertising profiles.

Where required by applicable law, we will request consent before enabling non-essential analytics cookies or similar technologies.

Information not automatically collected by eblabs software

eblabs software does not currently:

• Send software usage telemetry to us
• Automatically submit crash reports
• Automatically check our servers for updates
• Create an eblabs customer account
• Track activity within the software for advertising purposes

Software updates are announced through email, documentation, or other customer communications.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

• Provide purchased software and licence access
• Confirm and administer purchases and subscriptions

5. Lemon Squeezy

Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record for purchases of eblabs software. It handles checkout, payment processing, purchase accounts, licence activation, subscriptions, refunds, fraud prevention, chargebacks, and applicable sales-tax administration.

When you make a purchase, Lemon Squeezy collects and processes payment, billing, transaction, and account information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Derailleur Interactive Ltd. receives or accesses limited customer, order, subscription, and licence information from Lemon Squeezy as described in this policy.

You should review Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy for information about its handling of information collected directly from you.

6. Newsletters and marketing

You may choose to subscribe to eblabs newsletters or marketing communications through Lemon Squeezy.

We may use your name, email address, and subscription preference to send:

• Product announcements
• Software update announcements
• Information about new products or features
• Offers and promotional communications

You can unsubscribe using the link included in a marketing email or by contacting us through the eblabs support page.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary transactional or service messages concerning a purchase, licence, subscription, download, security issue, or support request.

We do not automatically subscribe every purchaser to optional marketing communications unless an appropriate legal authorization applies.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

The eblabs website may use cookies or similar browser-storage technologies.

Astro, the static website framework used to build the site, does not by itself require analytics or advertising cookies. Cookies may be used by services added to the site, including Google Analytics and Lemon Squeezy.

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits, measure sessions, and produce website usage statistics.

Where consent is legally required, analytics cookies will not be enabled until you provide consent. You may reject or withdraw analytics consent using the cookie controls made available on the website.

Rejecting analytics cookies does not prevent you from viewing the eblabs website or purchasing eblabs products.

Lemon Squeezy may use its own cookies and similar technologies when you visit its checkout, customer portal, or other services. Those technologies are controlled by Lemon Squeezy and governed by its privacy practices.

8. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate our business, including:

• Google Analytics

• Purchase and licence information for the duration of the customer or licence relationship and afterward where needed for support, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal obligations

• Limited suppression information after unsubscribing so that we can respect your request
• Website server logs for the period reasonably required for hosting, security, and troubleshooting
• Google Analytics information according to the retention settings configured in our Google Analytics account

Information may be retained longer where required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve a dispute or establish or defend a legal claim.

When information is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
